Hi guys,

The Neon tosp was finally approved today. The document sits on Greg's web

As a curiosity, the so called safety walk through for the G0
target actually discovered something rather interesting. The vent line
that Hall C (and Hall A is in the same situation) is using, called the
Nitrogen vent line, dumps gas from the Hall in an area between ESR and
Counting House where smokers smoke regularly and ESR staff have high power
compressors, welding machines and grinders working. Did I mention that
this vent line is 10 years old and all the Hydrogen ever dumped from Halls
A+C goes through it in the face of happy smokers? This JLab "design flaw"
was just discovered today!

I'll keep you posted about the magnet vacuum. So far this seems the only
thing that keeps us from proceeding with this crazy Neon test,
